Torrey Smith goes off for fantasy owners in Week 12

Harry How

Torrey Smith finished with his biggest yardage total of 2012. We break down the fantasy implications.

Torrey Smith caught seven passes for a ridiculous 144 yards in Week 12 against the Chargers. He led the Ravens with 13 targets overall on the afternoon, averaging 20.6 yards per catch.

Smith didn't score for the second week straight, but this was a vast improvement from his seven-yard performance from Week 11.

Fantasy Impact: There's no doubting Smith's talent and big-play ability. We only question Joe Flacco's arm at times. Flacco doesn't play well on the road, but he still managed to make Smith into a star again this time around.

Unfortunately Smith takes on the Steelers secondary again next week, the same team he caught just one pass against back on Nov. 18. You might want to temper your expectations for his matchup.
