Joe Flacco adds late touchdown to boost fantasy value against Chargers

Donald Miralle

Joe Flacco encountered some issues on the road once again. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Ravens managed to squeeze out a win in overtime against the Chargers this week, as Joe Flacco struggled to put points on the board throughout the afternoon. He completed 31 of 50 passes for 355 yards and one touchdown that came with just a few minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

Flacco's road woes have been noted all year long, and despite the impressive yardage he was still off his game in Week 12.

Fantasy Impact: Starting Flacco away from home seems to be a risky play in general these days, regardless of the matchup. Ray Rice was running the ball well, so it wasn't like he was asked to do everything with his arm.

Baltimore faces Pittsburgh again in Week 13. Judging how the last Ravens-Steelers game went for Flacco, it would probably be best to find another option at quarterback.
