BenJarvus Green-Ellis goes off in Week 12: Fantasy Implications

Andy Lyons

Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis had a huge day in Week 12. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis had a big day in Week 12. On Sunday versus the Oakland Raiders, "The Law Firm" carried the ball 19 times for 129 yards and a touchdown.

Green-Ellis was able to assert himself against a porous Raiders defense, even ripping off a long run of 48 yards. He also had one catch for 9 yards.

Fantasy Analysis: Green-Ellis was able to go off against this Raiders team. The Bengals were in control and BJGE had an opportunity to pad his stats. Typically, Green-Ellis is not the most dependable fantasy back.

The Bengals have a pass-friendly offense, in which they like to get the receivers involved. Sometimes Green-Ellis goes completely unused. Despite his solid outing in Week 12, he is a decent flex option at best going forward.
