Marcel Reece breaks 100 all-purpose on Sunday, a dependable fantasy option

Andy Lyons

Oakland Raiders running back Marcel Reece breaks 100 all-purpose yards on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders running back Marcel Reece had a decent day on the ground on Sunday. In Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Raiders tailback carried the ball 15 times for 74 yards. On top of that, he also had four receptions for 29 yards.

With Darren McFadden sidelined, Reece has been a solid option out of the backfield. He has filled in quite nicely during McFadden's absence, but unfortunately Reece is not the problem on offense.

Fantasy Analysis: Surprisingly, Reece has proven to a solid fill-in for McFadden. For those who were lucky enough to acquire Reece via waivers/FA, continue to start him.

Reece has been an all-purpose weapon for a Raiders offense that can't do much well. He runs the ball hard and provides a weapon in the passing game. Reece is a top-end flex until further notice.
