Ryan Lindley will start for the Cardinals if Kevin Kolb is still unable to play after suffering from a rib injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ken Whisenhunt said on Monday that Ryan Lindley would start for the Cardinals in Week 13 if Kevin Kolb is unable to play. Lindley started this past Sunday over John Skelton, and Arizona is sticking with him going forward.
Lindley didn't fare well in his first start against the Rams. He threw four interceptions in the 31-17 loss.
Fantasy Impact: Kolb hasn't played since the middle of October, but he's closing in on a return. If he can practice this week he'll have a chance of playing Sunday.
Don't bother starting Lindley if he's the one under center this weekend. The rookie has a lot of work to do before he's ready to make a real impact for your lineup. Kolb will be a risky play if he suits up given his lack of playing time.
