Mike Mularkey believes Justin Blackmon has a better understanding for what the Jaguars are doing these days. Mularkey said on Monday that Blackmon is practicing faster, which helps his timing in the passing game.
The rookie wideout caught five passes for 62 yards and a touchdown in Week 12, and continues to benefit from having Chad Henne under center.
Fantasy Impact: Maybe it just took him a while to adapt to the NFL lifestyle. Maybe Henne is the one really making him look better. Whatever the case, Blackmon is finally making the impact Jacksonville expected when it drafted him in the first round.
Blackmon looks locked in as a WR3 right now. He's receiving the most looks from Henne the past two weeks.
