Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon has not had any setbacks and looked good in practice on Monday, according to coach Mike Shanahan. Garcon had five catches for 93 yards in Washington's Thanksgiving Day win over the Dallas Cowboys, including a 59-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown.
Garcon was playing in his second game after missing most of the season because of a torn ligament in his foot. He had just five yards on three catches in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Redskins face the New York Giants in Week 13.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon could give some fantasy teams a boost down the stretch, especially if he is able to stay healthy. The Redskins signed him to be their No. 1 receiver but haven't had him on the field very often.
Garcon should be considered a No. 2/3 fantasy wide receiver in Week 13 against the Giants.
