Seahawks defense will have Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner vs. Bears: Fantasy implications

Otto Greule Jr

Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner will be available to play against the Bears while fighting four-game PED suspensions. We break down the fantasy implications.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seattle Seahawks CBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner will be playing against the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Both players have been tagged with four-game suspensions for allegedly taking performance enhancing drugs. They are appealing the sentence and will be playing this week.

Sherman and Browner have been the cornerstone of a strong Seahawks defense that's one of the best in the league.

Fantasy Impact: Seahawks fans, fantasy D/ST owners and IDP players can breathe easy for one more week. The pair of aggressive corners, known as the "Legion of Boom", are really what make this defense such a tough fantasy matchup.

If the suspensions hold up, it would be a crushing blow to Seattle's playoff hopes, and fantasy owners can suddenly exploit their weak depth in WR matchups. It's a day-by-day situation, so stay tuned.
