Nick Foles was relatively efficient on Monday Night Football, going 16-for-21 passing. He put up just 119 yards through the air, however, and no touchdowns, as the Philadelphia Eagles fell to the Carolina Panthers, 30-22.
The loss of DeSean Jackson at the end of the first quarter due to a chest injury certainly didn't help matters. The wideout managed just one reception for nine yards. On the night, Foles averaged a paltry 5.7 yards per attempt.
Fantasy Impact: Foles was more than happy to dink-and-dunk the ball while the running game did most of the heavy lifting. While the rookie didn't make any back-breaking mistakes, he did next to nothing for anyone who started him in their fantasy league this week.
That now makes three straight 'eh' performances for Foles. He should not be considered a fantasy starter except for owners who find themselves critically desperate in extremely deep leagues.
