Bryce Brown rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries during the Eagles' loss to the Panthers on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.
Bryce Brown exploded on Monday Night Football, rushing for 178 yards and two touchdown on 19 carries. The Philadelphia Eagles fell to the Carolina Panthers, but Brown's fantasy prospects skyrocketed despite the loss.
Brown also had four receptions for 11 yards off five targets to give PPR owners an extra boost. He started in place of LeSean McCoy, who sat due to a concussion suffered last week against the Washington Redskins.
Fantasy Impact: Brown had a fabulous game, even accounting for his two lost fumbles. The coaching wasn't deterred at all. Brown remained in the game ahead of Dion Lewis (five carries, 24 yards) despite his ball security issues.
Brown will likely be the first player taken off waivers in your fantasy league this week. Just be wary of McCoy's return if you do target Brown. McCoy was unable to practice last week, but that could change leading up to the Eagles' Week 13 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. It is unclear how carries will be split if both McCoy and Brown are deemed healthy, but don't expect either to be benched entirely.
