Cam Newton (wrist) lands on team's injury report, fantasy value remains stable

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (wrist) was listed on the team's injury report. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was listed on the team's injury report this week with a wrist ailment, via Joseph Person.

Newton was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and is not in danger of missing a start in Week 13. Coming off a win on Monday Night Football, Newton will lead the Panthers against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Analysis: Newton will be healthy and ready to go for this Sunday's game. The offense has become pass-heavy since Newton's arrival, so he'll have plenty of chances to accumulate fantasy points. And coming off a four-touchdown outing versus the Eagles, Newton has a high ceiling against a struggling Chiefs team.

Newton should be considered a good start in Week 13 as a QB1 in all fantasy formats. Look for Superman to be making plays with his arm and his legs.
