We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 12 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons
The NFL kicks off Week 13 with the Atlanta Falcons hosting the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. The Thursday games have frequently been clunkers, but this could provide an opportunity for some high scoring offensive football. Fantasy football playoffs are starting in the next week or two for most leagues, so a big showing on TNF could be impact a lot of people. To help you prepare your fantasy football lineup for Week 13, we've got game-by-game player projections courtesy of numberFire.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints have started to find their way, and although the defense remains a big question mark, the offense is still strong. They face a Falcons defense that is solid, but still has enough holes to create problems. There is no reason to avoid any of your bigger Saints weapons in the passing game. The run game is another story, of course. Darren Sproles is back in the lineup and worth a start, but the rest of that crew is only valuable in much deeper leagues.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are healthy and ready to face one of the worst defenses in the league. The passing game has no question marks. Michael Turner vs. Jacquizz Rodgers is getting a bit more interesting. Turner remains the starter and the better start, but Rodgers is hot on his heels.
