Carson Palmer limited in practice Thursday with thumb injury: Fantasy implications

Frank Victores-US PRESSWIRE

Carson Palmer was added to the injury report Thursday with a sore right thumb. We break down the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer (thumb) was limited in practice Thursday, reports Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times. Palmer was added to the injury report with an thumb injury on his throwing hand, suggesting he banged it up in Wednesday's practice.

At this point, there is no indication on way or the other on Palmer's status for Week 13 against the Browns.

Fantasy Impact: There's not much info to go on at this time, so we're playing the tea-leaves game. With the injury on his throwing hand, his game status is more worrisome than usual.

We'll have a clearer picture on Friday's official injury reports and keep you updated. Palmer is a quality QB2 play in fantasy if he's ready to go.
