Michael Turner puts together solid fantasy outing against Saints

Kevin C. Cox

Michael Turner broke a major Falcons record in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Despite all the negativity surrounding his running lately, Michael Turner managed to silence his critics on Thursday Night Football. He rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, adding a 35-yard burst as his longer run of the night.

With his first quarter-touchdown, Turner became the Falcons all-time leader in touchdowns, breaking Terance Mathis' record of 57.

Fantasy Impact: The broken record proves how valuable Turner has been over the past four seasons for Atlanta. He may not be the same "Burner" of old, but he can still get the job done on the ground given the right matchup.

He's also still receiving the goal line carries. Turner is flex-worthy with RB2 potential next week against the Panthers.
