Steven Jackson practices, should be ready for fantasy owners in Week 13

Christian Petersen

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson (foot) should play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson practiced on Thursday and should play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Jackson missed practice on Wednesday because of a foot injury.

Jackson followed a similar regiment last week ahead of the game with the Arizona Cardinals. Jackson finished with 139 yards on 24 carries in Week 12. He had 29 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown earlier this season against San Francisco.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson's absence from practice on Wednesday was never a concern and fantasy owners should use him as they normally would against the 49ers.

San Francisco's defense poses a challenge for all running backs but Jackson should be considered a No. 2/3 fantasy option at the position for Week 13.
