Greg Jennings injury update: Fantasy value zero with 'out' status

Matt Ludtke

Greg Jennings had surgery to repair his core muscle injury, making him worthless in fantasy football for the next few weeks.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings is officially listed as out on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Jennings has been suffering from groin and abdomen injuries this season and did not practice all week.

Jennings had surgery to repair "core muscle injury" and will be on the shelf for at least another couple of weeks.

Fantasy Impact: Greg Jennings has been among the biggest busts in fantasy football this season. His brief return to action just resulted in further injury.

Jennings should be back and fully healthy for the stretch run. Patient fantasy owners will be rewarded in the season's final weeks if they can survive his absence.
