Brandon LaFell injury update: Fantasy value low with 'doubtful' status

Jeremy Brevard-US PRESSWIRE

Brandon LaFell suffered a concussion in the Panthers' Week 8 game against the Bears, and that same injury will keep him out of Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Brandon LaFell is officially listed as doubtful on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

LaFell has been dealing with a concussion that he suffered in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears. LaFell stayed in the game after the initial injury but has been dealing with headaches this week and hasn't practiced.

Fantasy Impact: Brandon LaFell wasn't much of a fantasy option to begin with, but the Washington Redskins did present a matchup for a possible breakout game.

LaFel is rightfully going to be held out of this week's game, though. He probably shouldn't have returned last week, as it appears to have done more harm than good for him and his team.
