Calvin Johnson injury update: Questionable but should play for fantasy owners

Calvin Johnson is questionable for Week 9 against the Jaguars. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Johnson missed the entire week of practice, normally a sign that a player won't be suiting up, but coach Jim Schwartz has insisted all week that he will play.

Johnson has been working on a new training regimen this week to get his sore knee healed, which may explain the missed practices.

Fantasy Impact: It's not uncommon for coaches to talk up their injured star's availability to force opponents to gameplan for them, so it's possible the Lions are just bluffing here.

Megatron has been relatively quiet this season with just one TD in seven games, and the knee may be a part of that. Check Sunday's inactive reports before finalizing your lineups.
