The Washington Redskins host the Carolina Panthers with both teams looking to get back on track. From a fantasy perspective there are all sorts of fun options in this game, with most of your regular starters worth including. To help you prepare your fantasy football lineup this week, we've got player projections courtesy of numberFire.
The Panthers have struggled mightily, but they retain quite a bit of fantasy value. Cam Newton is having a tough season, but his rushing and passing combination have him still putting up solid fantasy performances most weeks. Ignore the bad publicity and stick with Cam and Steve Smith.
While the passing game is progressing, the Panthers rushing game is struggling mightily. Jonathan Stewart is listed as the starter, but the team still is working DeAngelo Williams into the mix, and neither has been particularly effective. Stewart is a bye week fill-in at best right now.
Robert Griffin III is looking to bounce back from a pedestrian effort against the Steelers, and he gets a choice matchup in the Panthers. His projection is high, and you can probably look for even better numbers. He will likely be looking for Santana Moss, Leonard Hankerson and Logan Paulsen. Moss has returned from the fantasy abyss to become an intriguing PPR option, and a decent bye week fill-in for standard leagues.
On the other side of the ball, running back Alfred Morris has emerged as a solid threat each week. He is coming off a poor effort against Pittsburgh, but has otherwise been a consistently solid RB2 option that is worth starting in most leagues.
