Ryan Tannehill injury update: Questionable fantasy value

Alex Trautwig

Ryan Tannehill is questionable for Week 9 against the Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Tannehill was limited in practice all week and got fluid drained from his knee. He suffered a hyperextended knee and deep thigh bruise in Week 8.

The team expects Tannehill to be a true 50/50 shot to play this week. They are prepared to sit him if he's not feeling right.

Fantasy Impact: It's going to come down to pre-game warmups here. Reading the tea leaves, I expect Tannehill to start the game, but the team won't be afraid to pull him at a moment's notice. They shouldn't risk re-injuring their prized rookie QB.

It's a very iffy situation this week, so fantasy owners should probably just avoid it if they have other options.
