Jeremy Brevard-US PRESSWIRE
Ryan Tannehill is active for Sunday's game between the Dolphins and the Colts despite a knee/quad injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ryan Tannehill is active, and is expected to start for the Miami Dolphins against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com. Tannehill was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report due to a left knee injury and deep thigh bruise.
Tannehill may be forced to wear a brace and/or compression sleeve when he takes the field in Indianapolis, but otherwise should not be limited throwing the ball. He has thrown three touchdowns over his last three full games.
Fantasy Impact: Tannehill probably isn't in your starting lineup anyway, unless you're in a two-quarterback, or particularly deep standard format fantasy league. Still, it should be noted that he has been playing well lately and has a nice matchup this week.
The Colts have given up 13 passing touchdowns and have countered with just two interceptions this season. They have also been mediocre rushing passers, with just 15 sacks.
