Cam Newton rebounded for fantasy owners on Sunday, excelling through the air and on the ground against the Washington Redskins.
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is putting together a solid outing against the Washington Redskins. Thus far, Newton has thrown for more than 200 yards and also added a rushing touchdown.
The Panthers have a commanding lead over the Redskins in Sunday's game, and Newton's resurgence is a big reason why.
Fantasy Impact: Cam Newton has been mostly a disappointment for fantasy owners this season, but Sunday's game was more of what owners expected from him.
On a day when Andrew Luck broke Newton's single-game rookie passing yardage record, Newton showed that he is still one of the better young quarterbacks in the game. Patient fantasy owners could be rewarded with a solid stretch run from Newton.
