Mikel LeShoure has breakout fantasy performance

Sam Greenwood

Mikel LeShoure scored three TDs and just about beat the Jaguars by himself. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions RB Mikel Leshoure had the game of his life in Week 9. Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, LeShoure got 16 carries for 70 yards and three TDs. All of his scores came in the first half as the Lions built a dominant 21-0 lead. They went on to win 31-14.

Fantasy Impact: LeShoure ceded more carries to Joique Bell in the second half with the game well in hand, probably the only thing keeping him from 100 yards. He's had some mediocre performances in recent weeks, so this was a nice reward to fantasy owners patient enough to stick with him.

There's no guarantee he'll keep it up, as the Lions are still splitting carries between him and Bell. He remains a low-end flex option against the Vikings in Week 10.
