Steve Smith connects for a TD with Cam, but he still hasn't blown up.
Carolina Panthers receiver Steve Smith caught three balls for 41 yards while scoring a TD against the Redskins on Sunday.
Smith has been underwhelming to say the least with only 630 receiving yards and he scored his first touchdown today. He scored.. his first touchdown.... today.
Fantasy Impact: Smith should have shredded the Skins and their weak secondary today, but only 41 yards certainly isn't going to cut it even with the TD. The Panthers do have a fantastic schedule coming up so we would suggest going out and getting your hands on Stevie should his owner be upset with the production. He'll be a must-start option against the Broncos next week as a WR1.
