Eli Manning threw for a season-low 125 yards with zero touchdowns and one interception during the Giants' loss to the Steelers on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Eli Manning threw for a season-low 125 yards on 10-for-24 passing during the New York Giants' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Manning had one interception and did not throw a touchdown.
Manning has now thrown for less than 200 yards in back-to-back outings. He has also yet to throw a touchdown since Week 7. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes for the first time this season.
Fantasy Impact: Manning had a hideous day passing against the Steelers, finding just four different receivers on the day. His back-to-back bad outings is worrisome, especially considering how well he has played this season. Is he pulling a reverse Eli and going cold late in the year?
Owners shouldn't freak out just yet because his body of work before weeks 8 and 9 was very strong. Next week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals should once again be a good matchup. He deserves another chance before the Giants' Week 11 bye.
