Brad Penner-US PRESSWIRE
Ahmad Bradshaw had just 48 yards rushing on 15 carries during the Giants' loss to the Steelers on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ahmad Bradshaw was held in check Sunday during the New York Giants' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bradshaw managed just 48 yards on 15 carries, and was held out without a reception (or even a target) in the passing game.
Andre Brown gained just 20 yards on seven carries, but was able to punch in a goal-line touchdown in the second quarter. He was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury, however.
Fantasy Impact: Bradshaw had his lowest total yardage output since Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also averaged under 4.0 yards per carry for a third straight game, and was held without a score for second straight game. He could continue to struggle going forward as long as Eli Manning struggles to provide support in the passing game.
As for Brown, he insists his shoulder is "good", though his status for Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals remains to be seen. If healthy, he could be in line for a larger role as the Giants try to get the running game back on track.
