Joe Flacco went just 15-for-24 passing for 153 yards and a touchdown during the Ravens' win over the Browns on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Joe Flacco went 15-for-24 passing for 153 yards and a touchdown to help the Baltimore Ravens defeat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Flacco found Torrey Smith for a 19-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, then hit Anquan Boldin to complete a two-point conversion.
Flacco has now thrown for less than 200 yards in three of his last four games, coming off consecutive performances of over 300 yards passing in Weeks 3 and 4. He has thrown one touchdown pass in each of the last three games.
Fantasy Impact: Flacco was relatively efficient Sunday, but the Ravens called for a season-low 24 passing attempts. Head coach John Harbaugh said during the week that he would like to reemphasize the running game over the second half of the season, and apparently followed through on his promise against the Browns.
Flacco has a decent matchup against the Oakland Raiders next week, but at this point he's impossible to rely on as a starter in standard fantasy formats. He is a backup/QB2 at best until further notice.
