Trent Richardson had 105 yards rushing on 25 carries and 31 yards on six receptions during the Browns' loss to the Ravens on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Trent Richardson rushed for 105 yards on 25 carries and had 31 yards receiving on six catches during the Cleveland Browns' loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. No other Browns running back touched the ball on the day.
Richardson showed no signs of the ribs cartilage injury that rendered him ineffective in Week 7. Sunday's game was a season (and career) high in terms of total yardage.
Fantasy Impact: The Browns are giving Richardson the ball any way they can right now, and that means very good things for fantasy owners. While the offense is struggling as a whole, the fact that Richardson is such a big part of the passing game makes him a safe weekly starter barring injury.
The Browns are on a bye next week, so Richardson will need to sit. He will return in Week 11 with a game against a Dallas Cowboys defense giving up 4.0 yards per carry on the season.
