Matt Ryan fails to find end zone for fantasy owners in Week 9

Kevin C. Cox

Matt Ryan ended his 22-game scoring streak on Sunday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Matt Ryan completed 24 of 34 passes for 342 yards on Sunday night against the Cowboys. While his yardage and quarterback rating were impressive, he didn't manage a single touchdown in Week 9.

The Falcons moved into scoring position on multiple occasions, but Ryan and his crew only punched the ball into the end zone once on the ground.

Fantasy Impact: His scoreless performance ended his 22-game streak of games with a touchdown. Ryan had 17 scores entering Week 9, so this outing is more of an aberration than anything.

Atlanta takes on New Orleans in Week 10 for what will likely be a high-scoring affair. Expect plenty of points from Ryan against the Saints' abysmal secondary.
