C.J. Spiller isn't getting enough touches, fantasy value hurting

Thomas B. Shea

C.J. Spiller continues to be held back by workload. We break down the fantasy implications.

Several notable names, including Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, believe C.J. Spiller needs to be more involved in Buffalo's offense. After Week 9's loss to the Texans, Fitzpatrick said, "I mean the story of the day for us is we've got to get C.J. more touches."

Spiller received just 11 total touches on Sunday, tallying up 102 total yards.

Fantasy Impact: If your starting quarterback is pointing out someone's lack of work, it's probably time to start listening. Chan Gailey remains committed to the Fred Jackson-Spiller timeshare. The two running backs each received the exact same amount of touches in Week 9.

Spiller is averaging a ridiculous 7.2 yards per carry this year, so it's had to believe the Bills aren't feeding him the ball constantly. Until something changes, though, Spiller's value remains limited.
