Dez Bryant says hip felt OK in Week 9: Fantasy implications

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said his hip felt fine on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said Sunday his bruised hip felt fine while facing the Atlanta Falcons. Bryant (via ESPNDallas.com) said he took a pain-killing injection, which helped manage the pain. Bryant did not practice last week after landing hard on his hip late in Week 8's loss to the New York Giants.

Bryant finished Sunday against the Falcons with one catch for 15 yards. The Cowboys face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10.

Fantasy Impact: Bryant was a game-time decision on Sunday and left fantasy owners in a difficult spot with the Cowboys playing on Sunday night. Those who stuck with him were not rewarded a week after Bryant turned in one of his better fantasy games of the season.

Bryant owners will have to monitor if he can return to practice this week.
