Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin's ankle is sprained and not broken, coach Leslie Frazier said on Monday. Frazier said Harvin underwent an MRI after he appeared to hurt the ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Harvin, who finished with two catches for 10 yards, was rolled up on by a defender and was tended to by the team's medical staff. He returned to the game in the fourth quarter. His status for Week 10 has not yet been determined.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners will be relieved that it's only a sprain but there's no guarantee that Harvin will be ready for the next game. Adrian Peterson continues to be the main focus of the offense, as Christian Ponder has not been an effective passer in recent weeks.
Harvin is still a No. 1 fantasy option at receiver but fantasy his owners will have to monitor reports from practice as the week goes along.
