Marques Colston caught four passes for 46 yards and a touchdown to help the Saints beat the Eagles on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.
Marques Colston had four receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown to help the New Orleans Saints beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Colston made the most of just four targets on the night. Jimmy Graham led the Saints with 11 targets.
Colston has now caught six touchdowns over his last five games, after being held without a score over the first three weeks of the season. His had his fewest receptions and yards since Week 3, however.
Fantasy Impact: Colston's score came on a 1-yard throw from Drew Brees late in the second quarter. He was not particularly involved in the passing game after four straight weeks with over double-digit targets, however. It's possible that Graham's return is cutting into Colston's numbers.
Of course, it didn't help that Drew Brees had a season-low 27 passing attempts as the Saints enjoyed a comfortable lead for most of the game. That likely won't be the case next week against the Atlanta Falcons, so you can feel good about keeping Colston in your starting lineup.
