Lance Moore had two receptions for 61 yards during the Saints' win over the Eagles on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.
Lance Moore had two receptions for 61 yards to help the New Orleans Saints defeat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. He made the most of just two targets on the night.
Moore's two catches matched a season-low first set in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers. His two targets were the fewest he has seen in any game this year. Moore has now gone four straight games without a touchdown reception.
Fantasy Impact: Moore took a backseat behind Jimmy Graham (11 targets), Marques Colston (four targets) and Pierre Thomas (three targets) in the passing game. Drew Brees attempted a season-low 27 passes due to the Saints' comfortable lead for most of the night. Moore made up for the lack of attention by catching passes for 38 and 23 yards.
Moore's numbers could suffer going forward due to Graham's return to the offense. Moore didn't have much fantasy value outside of occasional flex play in PPR leagues, anyway. If you're desperate for a body, Moore could do in a pinch. As a regular starter, you should have better options at your disposal, however.
