Calvin Johnson held out of Lions practice: Fantasy implications

Al Messerschmidt

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was held out of practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not practice on Wednesday. Johnson has recently missed time during the week because of a knee injury but has not missed any games. He had seven catches for 129 yards last weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Johnson and the Lions face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10.

Fantasy Impact: This is likely another rest day for Johnson, who turned in one of his better fantasy efforts of the season in Week 9. There has never been a great deal of concern that he Johnson would miss a game and that remains true again this week.

Johnson is a No. 1 fantasy option at wide receiver, even though he still has just one touchdown on the season.
