The Colts starter is active, but his playing time is an unknown. We break down the fantasy implications.
Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown is active and listed as the starter for Thursday night's game against the Jaguars. Brown has been dealing with a knee injury and hasn't carried the ball since Week 7 against the Titans when he finished with 80 yards on 14 rushes.
How much he will actually play has yet to be determined.
Fantasy Take: Brown has been decent in limited action this season and is facing a Jacksonville defense ranked 27th against the run and 31st in rushing touchdowns allowed. That makes him a great start when healthy, but it's possible he could be limited in carries and that Vick Ballard will get his fair share.
It's a risky play, but could pay big dividends. Especially if the Colts build an early lead.
