Eli Manning, Giants could use more no-huddle offense: Fantasy implications

Brad Penner-US PRESSWIRE

New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride says he's considered using more no-huddle to help his team's offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning could soon be running the no-huddle offense more often. Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said (via Ralph Vacchiano of The New York Daily News) that he has "absolutely" considered using it more to help get the Giants back on track.

There has been talk in New York that Manning, who has not thrown a touchdown pass in either of his last two games, is in a slump. He has also thrown for less than 200 yards in each of those contests. The Giants face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10.

Fantasy Impact: Manning seems to be at his best in the no-huddle and it would make sense for the Giants to consider this. Fantasy owners aren't worried about what the Giants do, as long as Manning starts throwing for more yards and touchdowns.

Manning has a decent matchup this week against the Bengals and should be considered a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback for Week 10.
