Colin Kaepernick rebounds with a win in Week 14: Fantasy Implications

USA TODAY Sports

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick won his third career game on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

In his fourth ever start on Sunday, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick won his third career game. In the Week 14 match-up versus the visiting Miami Dolphins, the second-year QB accounted for 238 total yards and a touchdown.

The 49ers emerged the victor, winning 27-13. Kaepernick sealed the victory with a 50-yard burst on a read option play that went for six.

Fantasy Analysis: Kaepernick is an all-purpose threat on a very good football team. The 49ers defense provides him with plenty of opportunities to make plays throughout the course of a game, and he is very explosive.

Unless you own a must-start QB, Kaepernick is definitely worth starting consideration. And even though he is still learning, he has a very high ceiling. Colin Kaepernick is a fantasy option this postseason.
