Dez Bryant had four receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown during the Cowboys' win over the Bengals on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Dez Bryant had four receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown to help the Dallas Cowboys beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He was targeted six times on the day. Miles Austin was targeted 10 times, but couldn't find the end zone on his way to four receptions for 46 yards.
Bryant has now caught at least one touchdown pass in five straight games. He failed to gain at least 87 yards receiving for the first time since Week 9. Austin saw double-digit targets for the first time since Week 11, but now has caught a touchdown pass in just one of his last seven games.
Fantasy Impact: Bryant's day was relatively quiet from a yardage standpoint, but he remains a weekly must-start as he continues to solidify his role as the Cowboys' top target. As for Austin, he has received plenty of opportunities to produce, but can't seem to put up useful numbers on consistent basis. He has to be considered a Flex option at this point, albeit a pretty good one. Both receivers have a tough matchup next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
