DeMarco Murray had 21 carries for 53 yards rushing and a touchdown to help the Cowboys beat the Bengals on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
DeMarco Murray had 21 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown to help the Dallas Cowboys take down the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He also had four receptions for 22 yards off six targets in the win.
Murray has 44 carries for 136 yards and two touchdowns in his two games since returning from a foot injury in Week 13. Backup Felix Jones was barely used, rushing just twice for seven yards on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: The Cowboys' coaching staff have apparently decided that Murray is going to be the team's workhorse going forward, making him a solid RB2 in standard fantasy formats. A meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers next week won't be easy, but the fact that Murray is sure to see touches should keep him in your lineup.
As for Jones, it's hard to like his prospects as long as Murray is healthy. He should be on your bench for Week 15.
