Dwayne Bowe suffers rib injury, fantasy value stalls in Week 14

USA TODAY Sports

Dwayne Bowe made an early exit on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Chiefs passing game didn't produce much in Week 14, leaving Dwayne Bowe's numbers to struggle once again. He did manage two catches for 70 yards, but eventually left the game with a rib injury in the first half and did not return to action.

No word has been given on Bowe's status yet. However, he was taken immediately back to the locker room and ruled out shortly afterwards.

Fantasy Impact: Bowe still ended up leading the Chiefs in receiving yardage by far after catching both of his targets from Brady Quinn. As if the Kansas City passing game didn't have enough problems already, Bowe's absence led to an even worse day.

Romeo Crennel should be able to shed more light on Bowe's injury on Monday.
