Joique Bell had 49 yards rushing on 12 carries and 47 yards receiving on five receptions during the Detroit Lions' loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. Mikel Leshoure also rushed for 49 yards, but needed 14 carries to get there, and did not record a reception.
Bell had his third-best game of the season from a total yardage standpoint. He saw double-digit carries for just the second time this season. Leshoure had his second-worst game of the season in terms of total yardage.
Fantasy Impact: With the Lions' wide receiver corps decimated by injuries, Bell could see much more playing time due to his pass-catching abilities. That makes him an especially valuable fantasy option in PPR formats. Even in standard leagues, he arguably has more value than Leshoure at this point. Assuming the two backs continue to split carries relatively evenly, Bell will be the better back to own over the final stretch of the regular season.
