Robert Griffin III suffers knee sprain, fantasy value unknown for Week 15

USA TODAY Sports

Robert Griffin III went down with a knee injury against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.

Robert Griffin III went down with a knee injury towards the end of the fourth quarter in Week 14 against the Ravens. An MRI Sunday night showed he suffered a knee sprain with no serious ligament damage.

RG3 finished his day with 246 yards and a touchdown on 15 of 26 passing, also rushing for 34 yards on the afternoon.

Fantasy Impact: The concern of RG3 taking too many hits appears to have caught up with him. Fortunately he was not seriously hurt, and he assured the media after the game it was not his ACL.

Kirk Cousins stepped in and managed to pull off a victory in overtime for the Redskins. No timetable has been given for RG3's status, but if he isn't able to play in Week 15, Cousins will be under center.
