Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was forced out of the Bears 21-14 loss to the Minnesota Vikings with a neck injury on Sunday. After the game Cutler said his neck was "really stiff" and that he has to take it "day by day." The good news is that Cutler did not suffer a concussion.
Cutler struggled against the Vikings before being forced out of the game in the fourth quarter. He went 22-for-44 with 260 yards passing, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Fantasy Impact: Cutler and the Bears have been struggling in recent weeks and a neck injury certainly won't help matters. It does appear that Cutler will be able to play in Week 15 against the Packers, but it is worth keeping an eye on how he practices during the week.
Cutler had a bad performance when the Bears met the Packers in Week 2, throwing four interceptions in the game. Healthy or not, he might not be the best option at quarterback this week.
