Ray Rice has a hip pointer, fantasy value shouldn't be affected

Patrick McDermott

Ray Rice suffered a hip pointer in Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.

According to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun, Ray Rice sustained a hip pointer in Week 14 against the Redskins. He noted the injury was "slight" and said Rice didn't appear to be in major discomfort after the game.

Rice had a huge day in Washington, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.

Fantasy Impact: Assuming Rice's injury isn't anything too serious, he shouldn't be a concern for your lineup in Week 15. If he does miss practice at all this week, it is likely just a precautionary measure.

Check back on Rice's status as the week progresses. The Ravens will rely on him heavily in a tough matchup against the Broncos this Sunday.
