Brandon Lloyd had seven catches for 89 yards and a touchdown during the New England Patriots' win over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. He scored another touchdown after a Stevan Ridley fumble bounced fortuitously into the end zone.
Lloyd had scored just three total touchdowns on the season before Monday's outburst. It was his second-most receptions and yards in any game this season.
Fantasy Impact: Lloyd has had a couple of other big performances this season, but they are few and far between mostly WR3 numbers for fantasy owners. When Tom Brady is on fire like he was on Monday, every skill player in the Pats' offense is a potential fantasy star.
Lloyd's fantasy value shouldn't change as a result of his big night. He hadn't had more than 45 yards receiving in any game over the last five weeks, making him hard to recommend except as a potential WR3/Flex option.
