Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE
Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart did not practice on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was held out of practice on Wednesday, via Joseph Person. The Panthers tailback missed another practice with an ankle injury, and does not appear to be on track to play this weekend.
On Sunday, the Panthers will travel to San Diego to take on Phillip Rivers and the Chargers. At this point, Stewart may miss another game.
Fantasy Analysis: The Panthers RB situation has been absolute mess this season, but there is still hope yet. With Stewart possibly sidelined in Week 15, DeAngelo Williams should shoulder the brunt of the work.
In Stewart's absence, Williams has been a serviceable flex option and should be again versus the Chargers on Sunday.
