Could the Rams talented receiver come back in time to help a playoff run? We break down the fantasy implications.
St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola (foot) was limited in practice on Wednesday. The now "injury prone" receiver has played in eight of a possible 13 games while missing the last two with his latest heel injury. Amendola has 51 catches for 576 yards and two touchdowns in those eight games, which is actually a bit less than eight games since he played in only parts of some games before leaving with injury.
The Rams take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15.
Fantasy Take: If healthy for 16 games, Amendola is a solid bet to produce Wes Welker-like numbers and easily surpass 100 catches but he's really struggled to stay healthy over the last two years. It seems like a positive sign for him to get a limited practice in already and if he's a full go by Friday, might be a good time to throw him into a flex or WR3 spot for the fantasy playoffs.
