Braylon Edwards is healthy and should be ready to play Week 15 for the New York Jets, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. The Jets picked Edwards up off waivers earlier this week from the Seattle Seahawks.
Edwards hasn't recorded a reception since Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts. In fact, he has played in just one game in that span. He has just eight receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown on the year.
Fantasy Impact: The Jets are desperate for bodies in the receiving corps, so Edwards will be a big boost for the team in that respect. He hasn't been a relevant fantasy option since the 2010 season, however, which also happens to be the last time he was with the Jets.
There is no reason to expect much from a fantasy standpoint. Edwards is joining up with a bad offense and has spent too much time on the bench this season.
