Sidney Rice wearing walking boot, fantasy value uncertain for Week 15

USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice is wearing a walking boot this week to help his foot injury heal. We break down the fantasy implications.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice is wearing a walking boot this week to help his injured foot and could miss this weekend's game against the Buffalo Bills, coach Pete Carroll said on Wednesday. Carroll said Rice has had an issue with a sore toe all season.

Rice, who had 35 yards on two catches in Week 14, has not missed a game this season. If he can't play on Sunday, Charly Martin could see more time at receiver for the Seahawks.

Fantasy Impact: Rice has had a solid season for Seattle, scoring five times in the last seven games. He has a good matchup this week with Buffalo but fantasy owners will have to wait to see if he's active against the Bills.

For now, consider Rice a No. 2/3 fantasy option at wide receiver for Week 15.
